An afternoon turned into experimentation

The photoshoot in Vigevano began as a gathering of friends in a cozy little house that seemed tailor-made for storytelling

At the end of the scheduled shoot, we realized we had some time left, and with the equipment I had in my car, the idea of trying something different was born.

Ylenia, with great willingness, lent herself to a glamour shoot that transformed a free moment into an opportunity for creative play, where curiosity and improvisation gave life to a new and surprising experience.

Light shaping and chromatic atmospheres

The most intense part was experimenting with lighting: two softboxes with grids and colored gels allowed us to create a split lighting pattern, projecting complementary colors onto Ylenia's face and body.

The darkness of the room amplified the contrast, creating a vibrant, almost pop effect that transformed the domestic environment into a set with a strong visual impact.

Next, we used the bed as a backdrop, placing a flash on the headboard to create an enveloping backlight.

These light-shaping techniques demonstrated how it is possible to reinvent common spaces with just a few tools and a great desire to experiment.

Trust, boldness, and satisfaction

The most significant part was the trust Ylenia placed in me, posing nude for the first time. The result was surprising, not only for the quality of the images, but for the naturalness with which she allowed herself to be guided.

The darkness and the backlighting probably helped to put her at ease, creating an intimate and protected atmosphere.

It was a great satisfaction for me to see a model tackling such a delicate experience with boldness and serenity on her first attempt, and to succeed together in transforming it into images that speak of complicity, courage, and creativity.
